The ThinkUknow Education Programme.
The ThinkUknow education programme being delivered at Somerton Middle School is a resource developed by CEOP to help children learn about the risks they may encounter whilst using the internet and other interactive technologies. It has a number of themes, but focuses on three key messages:
How to have fun online
How to stay in control online
How to report a problem
Children and young people will be taught how to:
•Recognise and manage potential risks associated with their online activities,
•Behave responsibly online,
•Judge what kind of on online relationships are acceptable and unacceptable,
•Recognise when pressures from others in the online environment may threaten their personal safety and wellbeing and how to develop effective ways of resisting pressure,
•Also, how to stay in control and report a problem this link will connect directly to the CEOPS website.
